Booking Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Fluffy Paws Pet Sitting Services
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our pet sitting services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

Definitions

"We," "us," and "our" refer to the pet sitting business.

"Client," "you," and "your" refer to the pet owner utilizing our services.

"Pet" refers to the animal(s) under our care, owned by the client.

Services Offered:

We offer professional pet sitting services, including but not limited to feeding, walking, administering medication (if required), and providing companionship to your pets while you are away. We will make every effort to ensure the well-being and safety of your pets during our care.

Booking and Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by us.

A non-refundable deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by cash, bank deposit, or other agreed-upon methods.

Additional charges may apply for extra services requested by the client during the pet sitting period.

In case of cancellation, refunds are subject to our cancellation policy outlined in Section 7.

Pet Care

The client agrees to provide accurate and detailed information regarding their pet's care, including feeding, medications, exercise, and any specific requirements.

We will make every effort to provide the agreed-upon care for your pet during the specified time period.

We will follow your instructions regarding the care of your pet to the best of our ability. However, we cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise due to inaccurate or incomplete instructions.

In the event of an emergency or illness, we will attempt to contact the client using the provided emergency contact information. If we are unable to reach the client, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding the pet's well-being in consultation with a veterinarian.

Should we be unable to contact the client and/or their emergency contact in the required timeframe to provide the necessary medical care to the client’s pet, the client hereby pre-authorises veterinary and other related expenses to be incurred up to $500 for any immediate and urgent care required whilst contact remains unsuccessful.

In the event that there is a life threatening or significantly severe situation, and we continue to be unable to get in contact with the client, we are authorised to, based on the best possible veterinary advice at the time, incur additional veterinary and related expenses required to provide the necessary emergency care.

The client hereby agrees to reimburse Fluffy Paws for any of the above mentioned and other pet care related expenses that may be incurred during the booking.

Client's Responsibilities

The client must ensure that their pet is up to date with their C5 vaccination and flea/tick treatments. (Note: All dogs must have had their required Vaccination at least 5 days prior to their stay)

The client must ensure that their pet is wormed, washed and has nails clipped prior to their stay

The client must provide all necessary food, treats, medications, toys, and any other supplies required for the pet's care.

The client must inform us of any behavioural issues, aggression, or health conditions that may affect the pet's care or the safety of the pet sitter and/or other pets in their care.

The client must provide accurate and updated contact information, including emergency contact details.

We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that your pet poses a risk to the safety or health of our staff or other animals.

Liability and Insurance

While we will take reasonable care of your pets, we cannot be held liable for any illness, injury, loss, or death that may occur during our care, unless it is a direct result of our negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, costs, damages, or liabilities arising from any harm caused by your pet to our staff, other animals, or property during our care.

We are not responsible for any damage or loss to the client's property unless it is a result of our negligence.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

In the event of a cancellation with more than 24 hours' notice, we will provide a full refund of the service fee.

4.3. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled visit may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be determined based on the circumstances and the amount of notice provided.

Refunds for cancellations made by us will be provided in full.

Privacy

We will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

The client's personal information will be used solely for the purpose of providing pet sitting services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the pet sitting services immediately if the client breaches these terms and conditions or if the pet's behaviour poses a risk to our safety or the safety of others.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia.

Modifications:

We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or providing notice to you.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and us, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, written or verbal.

By booking our pet sitting services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before booking our services.
